Wallsend PCN teaching Howdon Family Gateway

This week one of our GPs Dr Ramsey has been to the Howdon Family Gateway to teach the staff a bit about illness in young children. They discussed worrying signs to look out for, what to do when a child is unwell, and how they can support families. This session was well received and another is planned soon.

A popular “take home message” for the team were some resources that the team can share with families – these were Little Orange Book and the Healthier Together site.
