Meet the Team

The management team ensures services run smoothly, and work with our partner organisations to make sure we are meeting needs of the local population.

The Wallsend PCN Board meet monthly, and consists of the PCN management team, a GP and a Practice Manager from each of our 3 practices, and members of partner organisations.

The Social Prescribing Team support your Social, Emotional and Practical challenges to help you improve your Health and Wellbeing. You can be referred by your practice, please call your practice reception

The Pharmacy Team review medications and improve medicine safety and manage medication for Long Term Conditions, for example High Blood Pressure. The Pharmacy Team also work closely with the practice admin teams, for example updating medications if you have been discharged from hospital or helping with prescription requests. If required, you may be able to book an appointment directly via your practice, or you may be referred by a clinician. 

First Contact Physiotherapists specialise in the diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal conditions. Please ask your practice reception team for an appointment. 

Experts on a range of common mental health difficulties such as anxiety, stress, low mood and depression. Please ask your practice reception team for an appointment. 

GP Assistants offer clinical and administrative support to GPs.
